Here is a breakdown for the minimum - maximum a person (or family) must make in order to qualify for a government subsidy on the Exchange. If a person makes less, then they should look at Medicaid. If a person makes more than the Max, then they don’t qualify for a subsidy at all.

Note that the subsidy for the Maximum amounts are only $1 or $2.

1 Person - $11,700 - $46,600
2 People - $15,700 - $57,400
3 People – $19,700 - $58,300
4 People - $23,800 - $63,700
5 People – $27,800 - $68,700
6 People - $31,900 – $73,800
7 People - $35,900 - $78,700
8 People - $39,900 - $83,100
